The Dufresne team will never forget the smiling faces of the 30 “littles” that took part in the fourth annual Dream Big Experience.
On June 23 and 24 the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Dufresne Furniture & Appliances welcomed Big Brothers and Big Sisters to Investors Group Field.
Youth from Big Brothers Big Sisters from Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie, Morden & Winkler had a day of fun on the field, watched a movie on the video score board and had a pizza party with some of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The guests of honour received custom jerseys and other surprises from the Bomber organization. After a day and night full of activities, they had a sleepover at the stadium on brand new beds from Dufresne. In the morning, we let them know that those very beds would be delivered to their homes.
Thank-you to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Big Brothers Big Sisters for working with us to make these dreams come true. Dufresne was excited and overwhelmed to be a part of this amazing event for the fourth time. Here is a video that captured some of the memories from the Dream Big Experience.
